The role is a key operational and coordination position, supporting the Head of Logistics in managing day-to-day logistics activities, external logistics service providers, performance management, process development and the continuous improvement of our logistics operations.Logistics Operations & Team CoordinationSupport the Head of Logistics in the daily management of finished vehicle logistics operationsProvide professional guidance and support to a team of 8 logistics specialistsCoordinate and supervise daily activities, priorities within the logistics teamSupport the team in solving operational issues and exceptional casesEnsure that agreed logistics processes, standards are consistently followedAct as a key escalation point for operational issues Tendering & Performance ManagementPrepare and coordinate logistics tenders and RFQsMaintain regular professional relationships with LSPs and monitor their operational performanceDefine, calculate, monitor and evaluate logistics KPIs. Budgeting & Cost ManagementPrepare calculations and analyses supporting the annual logistics budgetSupport the Head of Logistics in monitoring logistics costs and identifying deviationsPrepare ad-hoc cost calculations and business cases when required TMS & Master Data ManagementMaintain and continuously improve logistics-related master data within the company's Transport Management System (TMS)Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness Internal Stakeholder ManagementMaintain close cooperation with Sales, Finance, Controlling, IT and other internal departmentsEnsure clear and effective communication between Logistics and internal stakeholders Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logisticsMinimum 3 years of leadership or team management experience in a logistics environmentFluent / business-level EnglishExperience working with logistics service providers and transport companiesExperience with tendering, RFQs or supplier evaluationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and daily practical use (advanced formulas/functions, Pivot Tables, data analysis, reporting and performance calculations etc.)Strong systems thinking and ability to understand complex end-to-end processesConfident communication skillsDecision-making skills and ability to take responsibility Knowledge of automotive logistics / finished vehicle logisticsPrevious experience in automotive logistics Attractive office work environment (Budapest Liberty Office) with home office option after the probation periodA cohesive team, a friendly environment in everyday workMonthly cafeteria plan with optional items, annual (performance-based) bonusLife and accident insurance, as well as entitlement to private healthcare servicesOther benefits (e.g. fruit day, possibility of language courses, company events)
