Develop innovative automation solutions for mobile robotics in interdisciplinary teamsSupport projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, from the initial concept to successful integration at the customer siteDesign and develop software solutions for mobile robotic systemsCreate, execute, and document developer and acceptance tests to ensure software quality and performanceDefine requirements, design software components, and prepare test specificationsCollaborate closely with development partners, customers, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleWork cross-functionally with other departments to deliver integrated and customer-focused solutionsPerform software validation, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites, ensuring smooth deployment and successful handover Master’s degree in mechatronics, computer science or a comparable qualificationAt least 3 years of professional experience as an application engineer with KMR iiwa or LBR iiwaProfound knowledge of object-oriented development with JavaExperience working with fieldbus systems (EtherCat, Profinet and ProfiSafe) and network technologyKnowledge of PLC programming (Siemens TIA and Beckhoff TwinCat)Experience in the field of automation technologyKnowledge of embedded systems, mobile robotics, and sensor integrationExperience with version control systems (Git)Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time to KUKA subsidiaries, customers and development partnersTeamwork and communication skillsVery good written and spoken English skillsGerman language skills are an advantage Our promise to youOur culture is deeply rooted in our passion to make robotics and automatic solutions accessible and easy to use.
