You will be responsible for the local implementation and enforcement of company HSE policies and procedures, ensuring full alignment with legal and corporate requirementsAdditionally, you will plan and conduct site visits, safety walks and audits, identifying hazards and following up on corrective actionsYou will take ownership of risk management processes within your area of responsibilityA key part of your role will be monitoring high-risk operations, including gas hazards, pressure systems, confined spaces and fire/explosion risks, while ensuring continuous complianceMoreover, you will play an active role in incident management, from reporting and investigation to root cause analysis and defining corrective and preventive actionsYou will coordinate and deliver safety training, toolbox talks and emergency response drills for employees and contractorsIn addition, you will support safe operations and project start-ups, as well as commissioning reviewsAs the local HSE point of contact, you will support audits and inspections during authority, regional and group-level reviews, while contributing to ISO 45001 compliance and continuous improvement You bring a relevant degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a comparable technical fieldYou have a solid professional background, with at least a few years of HSE experienceYou have strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety principles, regulations and best practicesYou communicate effectively in both Hungarian and EnglishAdditionally, you work efficiently with digital tools, including MS Office applications and H&S reporting or incident management systemsSafety is a personal priority for you: You demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and the confidence to stop unsafe work when necessary Our compensation package consists of several elements such as extensive fringe benefit-system, employee discount programs, and interest free company loan for housing.
