Location:  Budapest, Hungary Language:  English & Hungarian The main purpose of the positionAs the successful Strategic Buyer, you will lead the buying plan for products and services and will have extensive experience within procurement processes; building strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to maximise value by identifying and implementing cost opportunities and process efficiencies across the business streams. Your key responsibilities will beDefine objectives and detailed plans for projects in the respective areaManage sourcing and supplier selection activitiesNegotiate clear, robust and favorable terms and conditionsConduct supplier audits to ensure supplier assurance in line with internal ISS guidelinesManage corrective action plan with suppliers to resolve escalated issues or look for alternative suppliers when necessarySupplier contract managementDevelopment of a supplier base necessary for projectsDevelopment of a procurement strategyDefinition, documentation, implementation, and control of procurement processesSelection of strategic partnersBuilding a supplier base necessary for projectsManagerial responsibility - buyer assistants Professional QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a Buyer roleStrong negotiations skillsKnowledge of relevant regulations, standards and proceduresService and customer-oriented, with a commercial mindset Personal QualificationsProven self-starter who consistently delivers to outcome specificationsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenAbility to develop processes and procedures We offer you a challenging and exciting career in an ambitious working environment characterized by high pace and drive.
