In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.This role is contributing to the Electrification / Smart Building business line in the South-Eastern European region. Main stakeholders are Commercial Operations Team, Warehouse Team, Italian Regional Distribution Centre, and ABB Factories globally.You will be mainly accountable for: Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentationCalculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPsEnsuring effective materials planning and execution by managing MRP exceptions, coordinating call-offs and conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and servicesSupporting cycle counts and inventory accuracyCoordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase ordersCollaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibilityTaking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics functionsYou will join a dynamic, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
