THE OPPORTUNITYWhat you will own• Lead and develop a supply chain operations team, with direct people leadership responsibility in Hungary and Germany.• Build the future organisation: contribute to recruitment, onboarding, capability development and team integration.• Develop and implement material management strategies in close alignment with Procurement and Supply Chain Management.• Shape and continuously improve material management and operational procurement processes that support reliable production in a Make-to-Order (MTO) environment.• Own the balance between material availability and inventory efficiency, using clear KPIs and disciplined decision-making ina production environment.• Drive supplier escalations and work in partnership with Procurement and Supply Chain to protect business continuity.• Strengthen operational procurement capabilities through closer supplier collaboration, broader purchasing responsibility and clear process ownership.• Drive improvements in forecasting, material planning and the effective use of SAP and planning systems.• Promote automation and digital integration across material management processes. THE PROFILEWhat you bring•  Proven people leadership experience - this is not intended as a first management role.•  Several years of experience in material management or operational procurement or supply chain management or production planning or a comparable manufacturing environment.•  Strong understanding of material availability, inventory, planning, forecasting and end-to-end supply chain processes.•  A builder mindset: you enjoy improving structures, developing people and shaping processes in an evolving organisation.•  Strong ERP background. SAP is highly desirable; candidates from other ERP environments are welcome if they are willing to become hands-on with SAP.•  Collaborative supplier and stakeholder management style - influence and partnership matter more than positional power.•  Fluent English and Hungarian.
