Own the preparation and delivery of annual statutory financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP, ensuring accuracy, compliance and adherence to reporting deadlines.Analyze and explain key GAAP differences, providing meaningful insights into business performance and financial results.Coordinate statutory audit activities, acting as a primary contact for auditors and ensuring efficient resolution of audit queries and requests.Ensure year-end financial statements and supporting documentation are fully audit-ready and compliant.Take ownership of assigned Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet areas, building a deep understanding of underlying financial drivers and accounting impacts.Review and challenge account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness and financial integrity.Support planning activities by validating bottom-up forecasts against top-down expectations and identifying potential risks or variances.Partner closely with our Shared Services accounting teams to support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.Contribute to maintaining high standards of governance, internal controls and financial compliance across the organization. A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.4-5+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, Audit, Advisory, Reporting or Statutory Accounting.Strong understanding of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.Experience gained either within a multinational company, shared service environment or professional services/audit firm.Advanced English communication skills.Ongoing or completed Chartered Accountant qualification.Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.The ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. ACCA and/or DipIFR qualification.FMCG, manufacturing or similarly dynamic operational environment experience.Shared Services Center (SSC) environment exposure.SAP knowledge.Experience related to Corporate Income Tax and Local Business Tax.Participation in finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
