We are looking for a film editor for comedy, adult content, and marketing content.You will be joining a creative team of 4 VFX, 1 director, 2 3D-artists, 2 2D artists, 2 Sound specialistsYou will be responsible for editing three different types of content: Comedy scenesWe shoot our own actors, mainly on green screen. You will edit the scenes. The sound team will dub all voices. You will need to maintain the workflow between the pproducer, the VFX and the sound. A good sense of comedy is important.we have two types of comedy scenes: those that are edited more like a traditional film, and those that are more video-game-likeAdult scenesWe also shoot our own explicit adult scenes. Editing adult content requires a very different approach to pacing, shot selection and rhythm than comedy. You must be comfortable working professionally with explicit footage. Previous experience with adult content is welcome but not required.Marketing videosWhen the production schedule allows, you will also edit trailers, teasers and other promotional content. Role within the production teamThe Film Editor works closely with the Director and is responsible for turning the raw footage into finished sequences ready to be integrated into our games.As our scenes are shot entirely on green screen and all voices are dubbed, the editor is involved throughout the post-production process: Review the footage, select the best takes and camera angles, and assemble each scene.Define the pacing, timing and overall rhythm of the edit.Synchronize the dubbed dialogue with the actors' performances.Edit comedy scenes with particular attention to dialogue, reactions and comedic timing.Edit adult scenes with the appropriate pacing and shot selection.Prepare the edited sequences for the VFX team, who replace the green screen and integrate the actors into the environments.Coordinate with the 2D and 3D artists when additional visual elements are required.Work with the Sound team on dialogue, sound effects and the final audio.Integrate the completed VFX and sound into the final edit.Prepare and export the videos according to the technical requirements of the game.Handle modifications and re-exports required during game integration, such as changes to timing, cuts, duration, transitions, audio or technical format.Work with the game development team to correct any video-related issues discovered after integration.When time allows, edit trailers and other marketing videos.
