Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team (AP, AR, GL, etc.).Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, journal entries, and reconciliations.Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of supporting documentation.Review and approve financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Monitor workload distribution and support team members in meeting deadlines and performance expectations.Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.Support external and internal audit processes by preparing and reviewing required documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, HR, Operations, etc.) to resolve accounting issues.Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency initiatives within the group.Assist the Finance Manager with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses.Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to accounting staff.Coordinate accounting and finance-related projects that impact the BU College or university degree in Economics, Finance, or AccountingMinimum 5 years of managerial experience in the financial fieldMinimum 5 years accounting experienceProficiency in SAP FIBusiness-level English or German skillsProven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teamsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills
