Key Responsibilities: Review and complete Credit Approval Memo packages as per local regulatory requirements fully independentlyAnalyse and assess risks in the credit relationships and formulate respective recommendations for CEP Credit risk management approvalWork closely with Credit Officers, Relationship/Product Managers and Traders / Salespeople to facilitate transaction approvals.Provide credit input to standardize credit-related documents and reporting for the portfolio.Performs reporting and data analysis for the portfolio.Lead local risk management projects.Involvement in regional and global Risk management projects.Ensure Credit Risk MCA and Controls are effective.Performs other duties and functions as assigned.Development Value: The Credit Analyst Team is expected to grow over time in terms of responsibilities. Responsibilities are planned to be gradually expanded towards partial and end-to-end preparation of credit approval memorandums.The Credit Senior Analyst is going to work with other analyst team globally, credit approver’s chain as well as various business coverage groups globally. He/She is expected to gather sound knowledge of Citi’s credit relationships both in terms of credit profile of the covered clients and in terms of Citi’s product offerings. Knowledge and Experience: Candidate should have 5-8 years of credit or related experience.Deep knowledge of credit products and specific industry characteristics (manufacturing, services, banks etc.).Good understanding of loan agreements, support documentation.Experience in coordination of special projects/tasksSkills: Both English and French reading and speaking. Knowledge of Arabic language is also beneficial.Strong analytical skills and ability to decompose transactions into the core risks.
