We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and results-driven Assistant Group & Event Sales Manager to join our Sales team.In this role, you will support the Group & Event Sales department in generating business opportunities, coordinating event inquiries, preparing proposals, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales journey. You will work closely with clients and internal hotel departments to deliver memorable experiences while contributing to the hotel’s revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Group & Event Sales team in managing group and event inquiries.Prepare proposals, contracts, and event documentation accurately and efficiently.Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying new business opportunities.Coordinate site inspections and client meetings.Liaise with Operations, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.Follow up on leads and maximize conversion opportunities.Maintain accurate records in Marriott sales systems and CRM platforms.Assist in achieving departmental revenue and performance targets.Ensure all client requests are handled professionally and in a timely manner.Represent the hotel according to Marriott International and Luxury Collection brand standards. What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in hotel sales, group sales, event sales, or event coordination.Experience within Marriott International or another luxury hotel brand is an advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Sales-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Fluent English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Delphi, CI/TY, Opera Cloud, or similar hotel systems is an asset.
