About the RoleWe are seeking a native English-speaking professional with a strong command of written English to join our educational content team in Szeged, Hungary.In this role, you will review English-language educational materials translated from other languages and help ensure that they meet the highest standards of linguistic quality. Your primary focus will be on grammar, style, clarity, consistency, and the use of natural, age-appropriate International English for K–12 educational resources.This is not a translation position. Instead, you will work closely with translators, editors, and curriculum developers by providing professional linguistic feedback and recommending improvements to translated content.Key ResponsibilitiesReview translated English educational materials for linguistic quality.Evaluate grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, clarity, and consistency.Ensure that texts read naturally and are appropriate for K–12 learners.Recommend revisions that improve readability and educational effectiveness.Verify the consistent use of terminology and editorial conventions across projects.Provide constructive feedback to translators and content developers.Collaborate with editors and project teams to maintain high editorial standards. Native speaker of English.Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, or another relevant field.Excellent written English and exceptional attention to detail.Strong proofreading and editorial skills.Ability to provide clear, practical, and constructive linguistic feedback.Willingness to work on-site in Szeged, Hungary. Teaching experience at any educational level.Experience reviewing, editing, or proofreading educational content.Familiarity with K–12 educational materials.Experience working with translated content.Knowledge of CAT tools or translation management systems.Experience in educational publishing or digital learning resources.
