The Sales Order Management Specialist will be responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate (first time right) entry and processing of customer sales orders in the relevant systems and tools This role will ensure high performance, productive and excellent operational customer service. On a daily basis: You ensure high customer satisfaction through effective and efficient processing of orders to meet Customer SLA requirementsYou examine customer orders to ensure the validity of product specifications (including configuration), quantities ordered, and any special pricing agreements or requirementsYou liaise with Customer Executives or Specialist Services teams if order details do not meet expectationsYou ensure efficient, prompt, and accurate order entry in accordance with Customer-specific SLAs and requirementsYou process sales orders in line with process specifications and requirementsYou check purchase orders to ensure all details are correct, align with Sales orders, and the appropriate source of supply has been selected (based on rebates, pricing, availability, inventory, contracts, customer requirements, etc.)You liaise with the Purchasing team for information on non-standard and non-compliant orders (if not already available in existing tools)You communicate with Customer Executives or other stakeholders if orders are blocked in the system due to margins, customer credit limit breaches, export control, etc.You select the appropriate delivery service, configuration, and other value-added services as required by the customerYou liaise with internal service providers to obtain information related to sales order processingYou process returns in accordance with SLAYou ensure credits are processed in the system promptlyYou resolve order and invoice queriesYou maintain systems awareness training to stay up to date with any changes. You are the ideal candidate if...You have a good command of spoken and written English + French or GermanYou have at least 3 years of experience in Sales Operations and/or a Customer Service environmentYou have experience handling customer ordersYou have basic knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and E-business toolsYou are customer and sales-orientedYou are developing strong communication skillsYou have a flexible mindset and a ‘right first-time’ mentality in everything you doYou demonstrate reliability, conscientiousness, a sense of responsibility, and initiativeYou have the ability to work in a team.
