Responsibilities

The Licensing division of G2 Global in Budapest, Hungary and your employment will be with GEM Entertainment Kft, a subsidiary company of G2 Global. However, you will provide services to companies across the whole group.  This division deals with the worldwide buying, selling and licensing of feature films, TV shows and other intangible property rights in all media through specialized independent distribution subsidiaries, being, but not limited to GEM Entertainment Kft. (HU), Batrax Entertainment B.V. (NL), Film & TV House Limited and UK Film Trustee Company Limited (both UK).

You will be responsible for maintaining and managing a client focused attitude towards licensing activities, concentrating on contract management and compliance on client deliverables.
You will work under the supervision of the Account Manager(s) (Senior or otherwise) and report to the Senior Account Managers(s) and where applicable to the Co-Chief Executive Officers (‘Co-CEO’s’) and will consult regularly with other colleagues from G2 Global.

General duties include, but are not limited to:

  • During the training period, the primary focus will be on conscientious learning so over time, you can undertake tasks accurately, independently and to a high quality; so, the purpose of these general duties is for your progress initially, but ultimately you will be expected to handle these tasks as part of the team;
  • Day-to-day liaison with customers and clients, by e-mail, mail and Skype/Zoom/Teams etc.;
  • Regular consultation with the Senior Account Manager(s) in your team, and one or both of the Co-CEO’s;
  • Drafting, redlining, processing and finalizing contracts and other related legal documents in consultation with the Senior Account Manager(s) in your team;
  • Handling incoming/outgoing e-documents;
  • Cooperation with the Senior Account Manager(s) and other team members;
  • Updating of the rights management database, where necessary;
  • Coordinating issuing invoices, where necessary;
  • Filing and mail handling, where necessary. Please note that we strive to be a paper-free office environment;
  • Problem solving in consultation with the team.


Under the supervision of Senior Account Managers:

  • Checking disbursements;
  • Continuously maintaining, checking and organizing a high level of customer service;
  • Immediate management of special situations that may arise (both in the case of customers and team-related situations), if necessary, in consultation with the Senior Account Managers and/or other team members;
  • Knowledge of and team back-up for entering new deal details in the computerized rights management databases, continuous updating of deals and databases, including uploading documents to database;
  • Filing & archiving of the documents (whether original or digital documents);
  • Preparing statements;
  • Supporting staff in assigned project-based work;

Any other administrative support tasks requested by Co-Chief Executive Officers and/or the Account Managers (Senior or otherwise).

 

Requirements

A flexible, pro-active and self-motivated team worker combined with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 months experience in a workplace environment;
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple levels of the organization in English, written and oral;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Hands-on mentality;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service;
  • Ability to use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases;
  • Excellent time-management skills, with an eye for fixing priorities, attentiveness and accuracy in performance;
  • Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines;
  • Analytic, creative qualities;
  • Service minded, always in pursuit of client satisfaction.

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of the film industry, legal background and commercial skills are an advantage
